I’m originally from Philadelphia, PA but have been living in and around central Arkansas since June 1999. I finally settled back in Little Rock in May 2010.
I’m earned my BA in Applied Communication and Nonprofit Management at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR). I graduated in December 2016.
I basically love all animals, and besides horses, I share my life with seven rescued dogs, a rescued cat, and run a nonprofit reptile rescue out of my home that provides sanctuary to over one-hundred snakes, lizards, and turtles.
I started horseback riding when I was eight years old. I took regular Hunter/Jumper lessons until I was fifteen, when my family moved to Arkansas. Once in Arkansas, I started riding at an Eventing barn. Although I never competed due to Bunny’s health, I took lessons through the remainder of high school. Life “got in the way” after graduation, and for the next twelve years or so, I was not in a regular lesson program.
I returned to riding regularly in 2014. After moving Bunny to Applewood Farm, a Hunter/Jumper barn in Little Rock, I started working with my current trainer, Misty Morgan, on getting back into jumping and getting my confidence back in the saddle.
